Summer Camp 2018

We are excited and grateful to announce our partnership with Cardinal Camps at St Philip School, who has generously offered to host our four art camp programs this summer.

St Philip School students will be given priority registration until March 15th, St Philip Parish families until April 1st, but we believe due to the larger space, we will have no problem providing an opportunity for every artist who would like to join us.

Cost remains $135 per week which includes all materials, and a family discount of $25 is available for more than one child. Camp sessions are 3 hours long.

Please only respond by EMAIL TO HANNONARTWORKS@GMAIL.COM to reserve a seat asap. Only emailed reservations will be accepted to guarantee a seat in your first choice camp.Do not contact the school as we cannot effectively manage two reservation lists.
St Philip School families may send in their registration form and a deposit of $25 to the school, Attn: Mr Hannon.

Summer Camps 2017

Summer will be here before we know it,

and having our young artist friends back in the studio is our favorite part! As in years past, we will have a one-time $25 family discount for more than one student from the same family. Also, we have kept our rates the same as previous years.

All reservations must be sent in writing by email or text asap - first come/first served: hannonartworks@gmail.com or 401-447-4906.  Please do not message through Facebook as several messages were misdirected last year.

A $25 deposit per class, along with the completed registration form, is due by March 1st. The balance of the fee is paid on the first day of camp. As always, a wait list is kept for filled classes and most requests are met by the time summer rolls around.

Please note that these programs are in our home studio and students are expected to have a love of art and a passion to create items of interest and quality.  If your child does not have an interest in art, they may become bored or frustrated, and are unlikely to have a good experience.  You know your child best, so please only enroll them if they want to learn about and create art as we will be unable to entertain them otherwise. Thank you.

A season for learning

For several years we have taught Saturday morning art classes for 4th - 12th graders, and this year is no exception. We have a full house enrolled for classes beginning September 24th but we are accepting names for our wait list. Many students take a sport season off, so if interested, please let us know.

And after YEARS of being asked to teach adult drawing and painting classes, we are finally able to offer Thursday evening classes beginning October 6th! New lights have been installed, lessons have been planned, and good company awaits. Low stress, relaxing enrichment.

The classes are designed for the beginner and intermediate artist, with an emphasis on developing drawing skills, tools and materials knowledge, and an introduction to acrylic and/or watercolor mediums. Each class runs from 6-8pm, with the first hour practicing instructor led drawing exercises and the second hour developing individual painting skills. Seats are limited to 8. A commitment of 5 weeks ($100) is requested, and make up classes are allowed. Classes will be postponed for bad winter weather.

Please contact Christine Hannon, 401-447-4906, with any questions or to reserve a seat.
