Saturday Class Enrolling Now for 2015-2016 Session

We are happy to announce starting Saturday, October 10th we will be offering weekly traditional drawing and painting classes in our studio.  Here are the details:

A session will run from 9:30 am - 12 noon every Saturday except during school vacation weeks.

Ages 10 through 18

Similar to music lessons, the student should expect to increase skill with each class and PRACTICE drawing between classes in a sketchbook.  This is not a craft class, and although we have a lot of laughs, the student should be very serious about wanting to create drawings and paintings. They must also have the ability to follow instructions respectfully.

$100 for 5 sessions.

PLEASE NOTE - On Sunday, September 20th there will be an optional FREE day at the RISD museum in Providence.  We will be there from noon - 4pm touring the exhibits with the students and discussing the directions they wish to explore in our class based on what they love at the museum.  You may drop your student off for the afternoon with us, but you must to let us know to expect them.  Families are welcome to join us and the museum coordinates an interactive See & Sketch at 2pm for visitors.  Parking is free downtown on Sundays.  RSVP with Christine at 447-4906 by 9/19.

Students are expected to bring their own art supplies.  A material list will be provided or we can provide an introductory set-up for a nominal fee.

A paid session may be postponed when there is a schedule conflict or illness.  Non-illness postponements MUST be made no later than the Thursday evening before the class in order to receive a credit.  This will allow us to fill the seat during your student's absence and our rate very reasonable.

Seats are limited to 8 students and will be awarded first to returning students, then to students on the wait list and finally to new students.

Please call asap with any questions or to reserve a seat.  Christine @ 447-4906

The 2015 Summer Art Camp Schedule Has Arrived!

It is never too early to plan for a fun filled summer for your kids, and for us too! We hope to see our old friends and plenty of new faces this year. As always, please call or message us with any questions.  Registration is on a first come/first served basis and seats are very limited.  A completed registration form and a $25 deposit are required to hold the seat within one week of stating interest. Balance is due on the first day of camp. All materials are included.

Classes are Monday through Friday 9 am - 12 noon
An "art opening" will be held each Friday afternoon at 12 noon for the students to show off their creations to family (grandparents) and friends.  Light refreshments will be served.

One time family discount of $25 for multiple siblings

Please note that these programs are in our home studio and students are expected to have a love of art and a passion to create items of interest and quality.  If your child does not have an interest in art, they may become bored or frustrated, and are unlikely to have a good experience.  You know your child best, so please only enroll them if they want to learn about and create art as we will be unable to entertain them otherwise. Thank you.

Email your request for a registration form to: hannonartworks@gmail.com
