Getting ready for our first Summer Art Camp

Supplies have been delivered and the studio has been cleaned... we are also having a lot of fun creating the samples for the demos.  Mr Hannon is especially excited about the marble paper project.


To help you prepare for camp (if you are in the morning session,) be thinking about what you would like your self portrait to say about you.  Cut out or print portrait poses that you like, so we can set up a similar shot for you.  You may also bring scraps for the portrait collage.  Anything can be attached, like music lyrics, fabric, candy wrappers, dried flowers, small metal parts, etc. but the finished painting is an 8 x 10 inch canvas, so make sure the size will fit. We will also have some great scraps, but it would be nice to have some personal items too.  Here are some fantastic artist examples:
